"Hina" is a hallucinatory void of everyday objects. It is a personal response to what I consider "arte povera" and is the latest in my exploratory period of simple visual worlds with a glimpse at microscopic properties and all that they carry covertly.
Beginning with "Edgeless," my visual research as a sound artist was always focused on anything that could be musical in an image. It could've been rhythm, colour, forms etc.
I started with the idea of finding a visual dimension of sound field recordings, that is, trying to create visual objects, starting from naive situations, which I then made abstract and examined them in a distorted context.
In this case, it is a transparent washbasin that has disgraceful but essential function for our well-being.
In a flowing stream of images, bacterial dimensions that come to life through limestone are revealed.
